There is no better proof of the value of these ribbons than when you provide a print sample created on the Everest for a regular customer. Once they see the Everest print they can never go back to inkjet, labels or screen print.

Here are some helpful tips for working with Rimage Everest CMY Ribbons:

• Making blue and purples with Everest ribbons can be tricky. Make sure you get your customer or enduser to sign off on a proof before you proceed with your print job.
• You get 500 discs per ribbon, no more, no less. Plan ahead and make sure you have enough transfer ribbons to match your CMY ribbons. (Transfer ribbons are 1000 images per roll)
• There may be cheaper DVDs and CDs to print on, but Taiyo Yuden disc will deliver the most consistent and reliable print. Making a good Everest compatible disc is actually quite a challenge for disc makers. You'll find cheaper brands may work today, but the next shipment you get will have a peeling print surface or high recording fallout. They are the discs Rimage uses in their own media kits.
• Plan ahead - You can save a good bit on buying in quanity. Check out our 3, 5 & 10 piece bulk kits.
• If you have a job that requires exact color management and color matching, run it on one Rimage Everest printer. Our experience has shown different ribbons and different printers can create small color differences. Running your job on one printer, and avoiding multiple printers, will give you the most consistent output.
